Snakes. Just the mention of the word can send chills up the spine or send one fleeing in the opposite direction. To some they are just scary, slithery, sinister serpents. Beekeeping was introduced to the North American continent by early European immigrants. People begin to raise them domestically and are prized not only for their honey but also for the wax they produce. Honey bees are valuable; the reason why honey bees are valuable is, because they account for 80% of our food pollination. Without them our food supply would begin to dry up.
